A Caring Approach To Divorce And Family Law Mediation
I am attorney Tammara S. Bloom, and I enjoy family law mediation and collaborative law because I work well as a facilitator, helping clients through one of the most difficult times in their lives with support and understanding of California’s complicated legal system.
I have more than 30 years of experience as a family lawyer and have handled a large range of cases, from fully mediated or collaborative cases between parties committed to never entering the courtroom, to cases that proceed to full-blown trials with expert witnesses in a host of specialties.
In addition, I have worked both as a judge pro tem in Santa Clara County Courts and served as a court-appointed attorney for children in highly contentious custody cases.

Experienced With Complex Property And Custody Matters
Developing a parenting plan or dividing the complex assets that accumulate over the course of a marriage can be emotionally exhausting. I work closely with specialists who provide a range of services such as custody evaluation, business, financial and property valuations, diagnostic services for special needs children, therapists, supervised visitation providers, etc. I have a special needs child myself, so I understand the unique needs of these children and the impact that a divorce can have on them.
Because life continues to change after divorce, many of my clients return to revise custody and visitation or support agreements over the years. I’m often told they come to me because they appreciate my compassionate and thoughtful approach to their cases.
I welcome the opportunity to review the facts of your situation and recommend an effective course of action. To make an appointment, please call my San Jose-area office at 408-377-2817 or contact me online.
